The Organisers use the Norwegian tracking system Vpos and during the competition each glider's position will be displayed on a 2-dimensional map and there will also be virtual 3-dimensional images shown on a wall screen.

Tracking on the Internet  :  HOW TO PROCEED 

1- Connect to : http://www.silentwings.no 
2- Select  DOWNLOAD 
3- Select SILENT WINGS VIEWER DOWNLOAD 
4- Select your operating system: WINDOWS or  LINUX 
5- Enter nothing in the boxes where they ask for your name and password.  However, you should select REGISTER NEW USER on the bottom of the screen 
6- Complete Name - First name - Email address - and create, then confirm your password and enter OK 
7- Once connected, a new page is displayed.
Select  DOWNLOAD 
8- (re) select SILENT WINGS VIEWER DOWNLOAD 
9- (re) select either WINDOWS ou LINUX
10- Select SILENT WINGS VIEWER (28Mb) 
11- Select ENREGISTRER and download, then instal the programme.
12- After downloading the programme, select
SCENERY DOWNLOAD PAGE 
13- Choose EUROPE SCENERY DOWNLOAD 
14- Select the required zones for download (be careful, they are big files) and instal them in: PROGRAME FILES / SILENT WINGS / SILENT WINGS VIEWER/ DATA
/SCENERY 
15- Enter the link : tracking.vpos.no. , register, and await the confirmation by email 

Three images are sent simultaneously with a time lapse of 15 minutes.
The first image is what is displayed on the screen in St Auban.
The second shows the task map with each competitor's position on the circuit
The third is a view of the interior of one of the gliders
